 Florida Highway Patrol said two men were hospitalized after a four-vehicle accident at 3:19 pm on Thursday. Close to the intersection of North Sarasota University Park Avenue and Tuttle Avenue. According to a FHP report, a 62-year-old Bradenton man lost control of his car while driving east on University Avenue. The driver crossed the barrier and hit the front of a westbound truck. The truck hit the third car and hit the fourth car again. The car driver was seriously injured and was taken to the local hospital. The truck driver was a 43-year-old man from Bradenton. He was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. According to reports, the other two drivers were not injured. All four drivers fastened their seat belts.
